Life is a Puzzle

Yesterday our family was working on a huge puzzle. As part of our time together, we discussed how a puzzle is like "decisions" or "our lives". Maddie and Austin had some good insights that I wanted to share. Of course, like most examples, they may break down if pushed out too far, but bear with the simplicity and you will understand why we had such a good talk.

*Puzzles begin like a mess! It's just a pile of stuff. Sounds like life!
*Most people work on the edges first. The edge becomes a guide by which we can successfully complete the picture.
*We talked about God being just like the perfect straight edge of the puzzle. By His direction and boundaries we can complete a great "decision" or "life".
*Trial and error is part of completing a puzzle, just like life or decisions.
